The Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club has announced the launch of a new program to aid in the development of youth soccer players. This program in called The Senior Transitional Elite Program or STEP program. STEP will provide an avenue for selected players, from boys and girls soccer, to advance their soccer skills at the highest level of training and fitness.
The current plan is to train as a team at least 3 times a week and we are scheduled to play in 4 tournaments in addition to exhibition games that are yet to be finalized. This new program is a bold endeavour by Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club, which is dedicated to the development of soccer talent and who’s aim is to give all players the tools they need to succeed n\both on and off the field.
We are currently working to develop a dedicated STEP web site in addition to promotional material for the program and each player.
A program such as this requires the dedication of players who are willing to dedicate the necessary time to train, but this program is also a large financial commitment to their families. The uniforms, travel, lodging, and coaching requires funding and that is why we are reaching out to the business community. We realize that the financial crisis of 2009 has placed a burden on businesses across Canada, but we are lucky that Ottawa remains vibrant and has a reputation for supporting charities and sporting events.
We have designed sponsorship packages that allow business and business people to be involved at different levels according to how they wish to support the STEP Program. The sponsorship funds that are donated are solely for the STEP Program, but should you have interest in pursuing further sponsorship opportunities with Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club, a club official would be happy to discuss any opportunity.
